公共英语和专业英语的区别
参考人员不同：
1、公共英语，接受社会成员和在校大学生；
2、专业英语，只接受英语专业学生或重点外语类院校中，非英语专业的本科生中当年参加英语六级考试且成绩在60分以上， 方可参加当年专业英语考试。
相关考试目的不同：
1、全国英语等级考试，是教育部考试中心设计并负责的全国性英语水平考试体系，作为中、英两国政府的教育交流合作项目，在设计过程中它得到了英国专家的技术支持；
2、英语专业考试，全称为全国高校英语专业四级考试，自1991年起由中国大陆教育部实行，考察全国综合性大学英语专业学生，考试内容涵盖英语听、说、读、写四个方面。
怎么样过英语六级
多读。这个读是比四级还要努力的读书了，英语四级方面也许可以凭着高中那点记忆去读，但是六级的词汇量更大。
多写。六级的写作比四级还要难，因此备考中一定要多写，每天至少保证一篇英语作文（在考试的前几周）。
多听。如果你对英语的兴趣还不够，现在可以去网上看美剧，不要看中文字幕，锻炼你的听力。
多看。看一些经典的，写得好的范文，看一些写作文的诀窍，对比自己和别人的，让自己的作文提高很多。
多记。英语六级中又很多很长的单词，不知道意思的一定要多查字典，不要靠着自己的意思去猜。
不要临时抱佛脚。英语六级是不能去抱佛脚的，不要抱着这种靠运气的心理，一般是过不了的。还是要努力。
